Analysis

Family Financial Blueprint includes a Gap Analysis. The Blueprint includes 20+ years of financial expertise, thousands of hours of research and training, and a focus on 7 Essential Elements of the Personal Financial Planning Process:

• Retirement Income and Expenses
• Risk Management and Insurance Review
• Estate Planning
• Education Funding for Children and Grand Children
• Tax Planning Strategies
• Investment Strategies
• Cash Flow Before, During, and After Retirement

Recommendations

With your Retirement Income Gap Analysis complete, your Family Financial Blueprint will help you and your Financial Advisory Team to prepare for a second meeting (in person or virtually via Zoom) to review the findings and recommendations that will become a part of your plan – The Blueprint for Financial Success™.

• You and your Financial Advisors will see exactly what you as an investor can do to improve your retirement income plan.
• The Gap Analysis will highlight issues related to each of the items identified as *Gaps* in your plan:

Financial Independence (Retirement Income Planning)
◦ Risk Management
◦ Estate Planning
◦ Education Planning
◦ Tax Strategies
◦ Investment Management and Planning Strategies
◦ Cash Flow Management and Planning Strategies (including debt management)

At the end of your Gap Analysis meeting, you’ll have a clear proposal, including a menu of services with the associated costs so that you (the investor) can decide if working with the Financial Advisor is the best move for you and your family. It’s all part of the Family Financial Blueprint process.

Teamwork

Like any doctor, it’s important to diagnose before creating a treatment plan or writing a prescription. After completing the first section of The Blueprint for Financial Success™ you (the investor) will have everything you need to meet with your Financial Advisor to take the next steps. If you’re a Financial Advisor, you’ll be ready to coordinate with the client’s advisory team (in their office or via Zoom):

• CPA or Accountant
• Family or Business Attorney
• Insurance Agent(s)
• Investment Advisor
• CFP® Professional

Evaluation

Investors often need to evaluate more than one possible course of action, taking into consideration your life situation, personal values, and current economic conditions. Evaluation is an important part of any successful plan.

Plan evaluation includes all of the major strategies that have been put in place for the purpose of achieving your goals as an investor.

The best Financial Advisors, CPA and CFP® Professionals who conduct plan evaluations use a similar method outlined in the Family Financial Blueprint

ReEvaluate and Review

As an investor, each year your Financial Advisor should offer to Review, Reevaluate, and Revise Your Plan as needed.

Financial planning is a dynamic process and that doesn’t end after each step.
Family Financial Blueprint helps you and your Financial Advisor regularly assess your financial decisions.
• Changing personal, social, and economic factors may require more frequent assessments.

If life events affect your financial needs as an investor, your Financial Advisor’s [SMARTER Planning Process] will provide an easy way to adapt to those changes.

A regular review of your financial plan (typically on an annual basis) helps your Financial Advisor help you make the needed adjustments to bring your financial goals and activities in alignment with your vision, values, and purpose.
